Our Virtual Dojo

Welcome to Practice Ground — a 2-hour virtual dojo for somato-erotic practice. This is where theory meets the body. Each session is a guided, communal space to deepen your relationship with your own erotic intelligence. Here we enter into the aliveness that allows us to be in true service to others.
In the Practice Ground, we experiment, witness, and refine our craft through somatic ritual, breathwork, movement, and conscious touch (verbal and energetic). This is the space where your erotic practice becomes a living language — where nerves, sensation, boundaries, and presence become material you can trust.  
Whether you’re a seasoned bodyworker or stepping into this work for the first time, the dojo offers a laboratory for embodied learning: a place to train your nervous system, play with consent, and strengthen your capacity to hold transformative erotic space for your clients and community.    

Available to current and past students/mentees only.

What to expect:
Four days of consent education to support the way you show up in love, work & play. This summit is completely FREE and all registered attendees will have access to the workshops for 24 hours after they present. Dr. Lexx Brown-James, LMFT, CSE, CSES is a premiere sexologist leading the field of sexuality with shame free sex education and innovative sex therapy skills. As an AASECT certified sexuality educator and supervisor, Dr. Lexx provides education and therapy from womb to tomb through her practice The Institute for Sexuality & Intimacy, LLC, , keynotes, panels, and curriculum design. As a multiple time best seller and creator of Dr. Lexx’s Relationship Tune Up Cards, Dr. Lexx is an international sexologist. 
Pleasure Facilitator & DC Cuddle Ambassador, Jax is dedicated to fostering safer, inclusive spaces for pleasure, intimacy and connection as a Consent and Intimacy Coach, Guide, Educator, Consultant, and Platonic and Erotic Bodyworker and Companion. Specializing in facilitating somatically focused coaching and practice, Jax aims to empower Black, POC, Queer, and gender expansive individuals & groups along the East Coast.
Inas-Khalidah Mahdi is a passionate advocate for health equity & justice, particularly for Black birthing communities. She is a doctoral candidate at Johns Hopkins and holds a Master's in Public Health. Her work centers on dismantling anti-Black racism in healthcare, addressing obstetric violence, and promoting trauma-responsive care. She collaborates with organizations to amplify Black women-led solutions for birth justice and believes in a future where healthcare systems are truly equitable and responsive to the needs of all.
Dr. Jay Watts (She/They) is an Afrilachian, Queer Sexuality & Diversity Scholar and the Founder of The Center for Empowered Sexual Wellness, LLC in Los Angeles. She holds a B.S. in Social Studies Education, an M.A. in Human Services, an M.Ed. in Cultural Foundations of Education, and a Ph.D. in Human Services: Mental Health with a focus on Sexuality. With over a decade of experience in sexuality and justice education, Jay serves as a consultant and sexologist for clinics, OB/GYNs, and medical programs and she is a board member of the American Board of Sexology.
Mx. Lena Queen, LCSW, M.Ed. (Queen/they) is the author and creator of the sexual shadow work healing guide and the sacred sexuality coaching program, Healing The Erotic Self and the somatic erospiritual sex therapy approach, Integrative Somatic Sex Therapy. Using the erotic, as described by Audre Lorde, to cultivate embodied safety and self-trust for an intuitive relationship the mind, body, and spirit connection, Queen’s work supports Black women and LBGTQ folks reclaiming their connection to wholeness. Queen owns Journey Wellness and Consulting, LLC.,an erospiritual and integrative somatic sex therapy practice, which offers the healing arts of energy work, storytelling, erotic hypnotherapy, restorative movement, breathwork, and meditation. 
Candace “Coach Felyne” Liger (she/they) is the founder of the Center for Body Autonomy, an organization that specializes in supporting safer, pleasurable, and inclusive ways for bodies to thrive. She is an award-winning social justice advocate, a certified NASM fitness coach, BDSM/KINK practitioner, and consent & harm reduction educator. Additionally, she serves as the Co-Director of Trauma Informed Weight Lifting. Her latest campaign, #ConsentConscious, advocates for more comprehensive, sex work inclusive, and trauma-informed consent education - including the creation of Trauma Informed Consensual Kink (TICK) framework. 
Tashé Ann (she/they) is the founder of TAnntra, the originator of Tantra-Informed Mediation™, and has nearly a decade of experience in alternative dispute resolution. Her work holds space for practices that uncloud communication, clear conflict, and call in pleasure. She educates communities through certification coursework and free monthly gatherings, mentors fellow peacemaking specialists, and accompanies individuals and groups while they navigate the transformation that is conflict. She is trained as an attorney, a registered neutral, an EroSomatic Touch® Practitioner, an Authentic Consent™ Facilitator, and a Sex Doula, and is a member of the American Association of Somatic Sexology and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
