Those of us of the global majority, especially Black people, deserve the opportunity to experience rest and pleasure without the microagressions that are often normalized in luxury. The systemic oppression we face is exhausting and too often we are left to deal with the resulting mental and physical health issues. To cope, some Black people find themselves stuck in a cycle of overworking and neglecting self-care. 

We have over 14 retreats, trainings & gatherings this year at the institute, and I just know there is one for you. Our retreats range from weekend gatherings for up to 6 people, to weeklong retreats for up to 30! We are prioritizing self-preservation, joy, rest, and pleasure. We have worked hard to build a space where it is safe to focus on transformative self-care, reconnecting with our bodies, and to explore new avenues of joy.
